Our mugs are handmade, to order. This means, once you place your order we begin working on it. This is slow-production. Every order takes 4-8 weeks from start to finish. This time is used to make the product, let it dry, let it go through a 24 hour firing process in our kiln, waxing and glazing, and then another 24-48 hour firing in the kiln. We then sand each bottom, inspect each product,and pack the order for you. We cannot rush this process and our timeline will depend on how many other orders we also have on the go.

Due to the way production works, there must be a minimum of 10 mugs ordered, all using the same stamp. If you want something smaller, please contact us directly.

We can put your logo on mugs. This costs an extra $5/mug as each logo is placed by hand and requires an extra process for every mug. The logo can be placed horizontal or vertically and usually is placed on a raised panel. This panel remains the colour of the clay used to make the mug (red or white) and we hand paint glaze into each letter so it pops for you. If you choose to add a logo to your mug, we will need your logo in a pdf file in black and white (no greyscale). We use this to order a stamp for you which is an extra one time fee of $75 and can take up to three weeks for us to get from our supplier–this means it will be up to 9 weeks before you get your order. We will have this stamp on hand for future orders.

You can choose from our options of red clay or white clay. This determines the color you see on the bottom of the mug, as well as the colour of the raised logo panel should you be choosing a logo mug. It also changes the way a glaze shows up–so as you choose the colour of glaze you want, take note of how it looks different on clay versus another.

You can also choose from our 4 styles: a belly mug (thrown on the wheel, 20 oz), a tall cylindrical mug (thrown on the wheel, 20oz), a tall (20oz) or short (12 oz) wrap mug (crafted on a table by hand).

These are handmade to order, as such, though we strive to make pieces as similar to the pictures and your expectations, every piece will be unique--your order comes with the risk of variability. There are so many different factors at play and so while we do our best, glazes may look a bit different than you expect and then pictured on the website. Additionally, the shape and size of the mug will vary a bit as well as we are not a factory. So many things in this process are actually out of our control, and so please note that this is a risk.

The cost of a mug is determined on a case by case basis and we will communicate that with you directly. Mugs start at a minimum base of $35/mug, the price goes up depending on customization options chosen. We can do custom colour and designs and charge for this on an hourly basis. All fees for design and customization are non-refundable regardless of the end product and if you decide to go through with the order. This process will take at least 4-6 weeks longer to do development properly. We require a 50% deposit and a signed contract before we begin work on your order. We require a 50% deposit upon confirmation. We will not begin your order until we have this deposit. It goes to the purchasing of materials and the makers’ payment. We require the remaining 50% before you pick up your order. If we have not received payment before you arrive, we cannot hand over your products.

We unfortunately do not offer shipping at this time. You are welcome to pick up all orders in East Vancouver, close to Commerical Drive when they are available.
